Jammin’ Jocks

Big Tom Lawler – Weekdays Noon to 1 EST for “Jammin Request Fest” & Solid Gold Soul – Sunday 7 to 10 PM EST

If you see a big green Buick zoomin’ down 195 blasting some old Motown soul, watchout! It could be Big Tom on his way to the Jammin studios ( more likely than not he’s just racing there before his Wawa meatball sub cools off).

Born in Houston Texas, but raised on Motown, Soul & disco here in New Jersey, Big Tom is happy to bring this great music worldwide from the Jersey Shore for 3 hours every day. Send your comments/requests/dedications to him here, and he’ll be sure to play it ASAP.

And if anyone has a spare 8 track for a 77 Electra, please drop him a line – the original one died and took his SuperFly soundtrack with it!

The Brew with Brandi – Wednesdays 3P EST & Fridays 6P EST

Hi Tom this is Bill E from Springfield if you remember me from your days at WMTR.

Just wanted to say hi and hope all is well by you. I don’t listen to DooWop Drive anymore since you left cause I don’t like the format of the program since you left.

If you have time please give me a shout back. Take care.

Hi Tom, this is Chrissy from Lodi. I’m the one who used to request Eddie Holman (“This Can’t Be True”) on
DooWop Drive at WMTR. I don’t listen to it any more, either, since you left. I tried it, but it just doesn’t have the same feel. And the new guy’s voice is really annoying, especially with the constant reverb.

Can’t believe I found you and I’m glad you’re doing what you love and are so good at. Best of luck and I’ll be tuning in Sunday night.
